Employment Issues​
There are more than 330,000 Foreign Domestic Helpers in Hong Kong as of 2015 and have been part of Hong Kong's culture since the 1970s. However, thousands of this populace faces exploitation regarding their employment.
Many are traumatized by the hardships of abuses by their employers, some suffer from sexual assault and harrassment leading to social problems while others experience frequent verbal abuse.
Local Organizations

There are dozens of local organizations in Hong Kong that provide various services for Foreign Domestic Helpers to utilize.
Many organizations deal with legal services such as Helpers for Domestic Helpers and Mission for Migrant Workers.
Most organizations encourage volunteer work from students, lawyers, and even Foreign Domestic Helpers.
